Civil War Period Food Box - Maker Marked on the front with C.J.F & Bros 1863 & 64, box is 26" wide by 13" deep by 11" high. Hard-Tack - RARE & Museum Grade Full Size Hard Tack, from the Spanish American War, Dated May 7, 1898. The Full Size Cracker is 4 1\2" in diameter by 1/2" thick, excellent condition over-all with very little insect damage. The cracker was sent home to Pine Grove, Pa. from George Heiser of Co. G. The names of mess mates are inscribed on it as follows, Willie Heiser, William Yoder, Willie Yoder, John Yoder. Civil War Period Coffee Boiler - The coffee vessel is in excellent condition with a few minor rust spots, nothing extreme, all solder seams are good and would hold water today. The lid handle is made of wood, complete with spout cover, marked with a 6 on the handle, the size is 9 1\2" tall with base at 7 1/4" in diameter. Tooth Puller - Very early and dated on the bone handle, 1841, has old tag from Denist Office Inventory, one side reads, Old Turn Key, Used in Panama. 19th Century Casket - Civil War Era Childs Caskets in very good condition with original wood chips inside for bedding. The size is 13" wide by 48" long by 11" deep, 25 pounds heavy, original paint, this was never opened to I bought it from the day made.
