Cast Iron Barrel Lock - This could pre-date the civil war by many years, I have never seen another like this one. I suspect this is European made, has great detail in the metal work, no key and you cant open the lock. Flying Eagle - Cast aluminum eagle made in 3 parts & bolted together. I date this to circa 1920's to 1950 ? Wing span is 8" wide by 6 1/2" tall at wing tips, base is 5 1/2" by 4". 19th Century Fairbanks Store Scale - Circa 1880 to 1900, large & heavy cast iron with brass weights. The cast iron base is 16" by 11" wide by 3" high, 11" high in the back. Butcher Knife & Saw - Civil War Period butcher knife, also called a medical saw & listed in Lord's Encyclopedia, page 122 volume 4. Maker marked & stamped on blade, H & C Disston, Philade. Indian War Brass Spurs - Pattern 1885 spurs with leather straps and buckles. One strap to each spur has a repair and one is broken, leather a tad dry. Scarce Antique Hand Pump Sweeper - Circa 1900, the story is that this was used & came from West Point New York Academy. Anyrate, this is kind of cool looking, made by the Duplexo Co Brooklyn New York. The size is 56" long overall by 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" in diameter, floor nozzle 11" wide. 19th Century Stanhope Period Cane - The cane is 33 1/2" long with a 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" diameter bone handle, handle show age with cracking. This had a stanhope inside now missing, the ground tip also long gone. The tiger wood with no cracks or damage seems heavy to me, to bad the stanhope is missing, I wonder what the image was, circa 1890. - Price is $ 100.00 plus shipping and insurance. Item - M-53


19th Century Compass - Compass made in France, the size is 4 1/4" by 4 1/4" by 1" thick. Wood shrinkage has caused a crack in case, the dial & glass are loose with little harm because of this, needle stop missing, still in working order. - Price is $ 150.00 plus shipping and insurance. Medical Apothecary or Gold Scale - Scale & tin case remain good condition overall, case has lost most of the black paint coating. Comes with 2 brass weights. Tin case is 5" long by 2" wide, 1" deep. Large Black Powder Cannon - Antique cannon, circa 1940 to 1950, heavy 38 1/2 pounds. This is no small toy, 22" overall with a 10" barrel. Muzzel is 2 1/2" in diameter with a 1" bore, breech is 3" in diameter. Steel frame, main is 3/4" thick. The red painted wheels are 7" in diameter by 1" wide with a 3" trail wheel. The barrel has a faint 1860 scratched in the cast. I should have placed cannon wick in the prime hole to see better, its there, 1st image, BANG. - Price is $ 450.00 plus shipping and insurance.
