Scarce James Garfield Mourning Fire Dept Ribbon - Ribbon is 1 3/4" by 6" long, couple small pin holes at top from use, shows honest age, otherwise excellent. Gettysburg 1910 Bronze Medal - Large & heavy, 2 3/8" in diameter by 1/8" thick, made from confederate cannon bronze. Stamped on the edge is the maker Davison Phila. Comes with the original box, one side flap is missing, box shows storage wear. These were sold to raise money for monument preservation, General Meade on the front and the Pa State Soldier Monument on the reverse which was dedicated on September 27th, 1910, excellent condition. - Price is $ 200.00 plus shipping and insurance. SCARCE - 1865 Fort Monroe Employee Pass - Dated June 17, 1865,, Employee pass issued by the Assistant Quartermaster Office No 138, good until revoked. SCARCE Garfield Mourning Ribbon & Store Card - James A. Garfield Mourning ribbon, 6 1/2" long by 1 1/8, shows age & use, good condition overall. Garfield CDV style store card is 4" by 6 3/8" that has a poem on the reverse to advertise Vaseline. Albumen shows age and storage wear. GAR Reunion Ribbon - Dated 1900, GAR Post # 220 is Major Mays Franklin, Pa, the size is 2" by 7", good condition. Captain Miller received his Medal of Honor for his gallant charge and was presented with it in 1897. He died in 1919, and was buried with honors at Gettysburg. The gold lettering on his tombstone sets him apart as a winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor – the only Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Gettysburg to be buried in Gettysburg’s Soldiers National Cemetery. - Price is $ 100.00 plus shipping and insurance.
