Middleburg Pa GAR Hall Ribbon - SCARCE ribbon for the Benefit of Soldiers Memorial Middleburg, Pa. Dedicated September 10th 1908. The size is, 6" long by 2 1/4" wide. Good condition overall with a small chip left top from being pinned. I have stopped here many times over the years, beautiful stain glass windows on this building. Post #351 GAR Ribbon - Pa Post 351 for Steelton, Pa, also known as the Sergeant Lascomb Post. Dated May 25th 1888 Felton Hall, Camp Fire. Ribbon is 2 1/2" wide by 7" long and is all Embroidered to include the 13 star flag. Maker stamped on the bottom reverse. Never seen another from this post. Parade Flag - Sometimes called bible flags, 48 stars for the state of Arizona, 1912. Flag is good condition showing honest age & use, stick is broke, 8 1/2" long overall. SCARCE - 1865 Fort Monroe Employee Pass - Dated June 17, 1865,, Employee pass issued by the Assistant Quartermaster Office No 138, good until revoked. SCARCE Garfield Mourning Ribbon & Store Card - James A. Garfield Mourning ribbon, 6 1/2" long by 1 1/8, shows age & use, good condition overall. Garfield CDV style store card is 4" by 6 3/8" that has a poem on the reverse to advertise Vaseline. Albumen shows age and storage wear. SCARCE - GAR Knapsack - The Souvenir is from the 26th National Encampment 1892 Washinton, DC. Made of leather with a brown twill cloth bed roll, the pack size is approximate 2" by 2" with a 4" ribbon. 25th President William Mckinley Collection - Nice lot of stuff here related to Mckinley to include. Mourning Pin, Elongated Penny ?, Grave Photo, Section of wood from a chair, GAR Badge. Badge is for Dept of Pa, 39th Annual Encampment Reading, Pa June 1905, McKinley Monument on the reverse. Mourning pin is 1 1/4" in diameter. Grave photo is 6" by 5". Piece of wood is 4" long & reads, Piece of chair Mckinley sat in after being shot at Buffalo. Elongated souvenir penny shows the building he was shot in at the Pan American Exposition. Mckinley enlisted as a private in the civil war with rank of major by the end of the war. Nice lot of stuff here, all in very good condition. - Price is $ 250.00 plus shipping and insurance. GAR Mourning Ribbon - John A. Griswold, Troy, New York Post 338. John Augustus Griswold, Born November 11, 1818. Died October 31, 1872. He was an American businessman and politician. He was well known for building at personal expense the first iron-clad Ericsson warship, the USS Monitor to combat the confederate converted frigate the Merrimac.
