Pattern 1839 NCO Shoulder Belt w/ Pattern 1826 Shoulder Belt Plate - Shoulder strap is 2" wide by 26" long folded laid flat as you see in the photos. Leather Militia Waist Cartridge Box - Circa 1820 to 1840, 24 tin pipe insert inside for large caliber rounds. US Cartridge Box - The cartridge box leather is in good condition, missing the inner closing end flaps or dog ears. The finial strap button hole was torn and repaired with touch of glue at one time. American Militia Cartridge Box - Circa 1820 to 1840, cartridge box with a 24 tube tin insert. Leather shows age & use, remains very good overall, reverse for use of a shoulder strap intact, missing part of the closure strap and front flower button is lost to time. Pattern 1874 Palmer Brace System - Scarce to find, used with the hagner belt to help carry loaded haversack & bed roll. Stamped Rock Island Arsenal, complete with all straps & buckles. Leather remains very good condition showing honest age, no issues, shows very little use & wear. Came from a collection of Bannermans stuff I just purchased. U.S. Pattern 1851 Belt Rig - Black bridle leather belt is about 42", complete with leather keeper, maker marked stamped near tounge, although weak, looks to be stamped Watervliet Arsenal, flat catch for CW period belts. Box has post war modification which I believe is for a different type of shoulder strap, similar to the Mann's Cart Box. Medical Saddle Bags - Civil War medical saddle bags, all original with 2 leather bottle inserts, 2 original glass bottles inside. Would be fun to collect items to fill this bad boy back up. Bags are 8" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 5" high,, approximate. One closure strap is broken, part or section is inside bag. Some leather border, edge trim has seperation & is loose, nothing extreme, this comes from use & wear. There is a small hole in the one bag at top, see photo, possible a bullet hole ? YUP, this saw some war time, no question. Overall very good condtion showing honest age & use.
